My sister, Olga, used to collect postcards. She had a photo album full of cards. My Mom gave it to me a few years ago and it had been sitting inside my closet collecting dust. Many of them had been taped to the pages and the cards were stained by the glue on the tape. Many had gotten stuck together and required being separated very carefully to avoid further damage. As I was going over the cards, I had the bright idea to build a webpage and post them for others to see and maybe bring back some good memories about growing up or living in Eagle Pass, Texas and our neighbor to the south, Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

This is the view of Piedras Negras from the motel across from the Farmacia Benavides. This is the street that leads to the International Bridge. The main church is visible in the background. You can see the old Kiosko and what the Plaza looked like before they put the Parking lot behind the Farmacia. |

| This is the old "Palacio Precidencial", City Hall, I believe it burned down. | ![]() |
| This is the Aduana when it was newly built. It was a magnificent sight when it was new and clean. The design was very modern and had a futuristic appearance. It looked like something out of the Jetson's cartoon. | ![]() |
| This is from the same angle as the picture that was taken of the Plaza except you are now looking towards Eagle Pass. | ![]() |
| The display of the different flags from the American continents was awesome. I haven't see them displayed since the early 70's. You can see the old bridge with its metal supports. | ![]() |
| Oh yeah, I walked that bridge many times as a little kid. This is the view of the new bridge when it was just built. The old Sam Houston Elementary School was located just on the other side of the immigration station. If you were a migrant student in the early 70's, you spent 4th, 5th or 6th grade there. | ![]() |
| I am not sure of which street this is, but it's in Eagle Pass. That is one wide street! | ![]() |
| This is suppose to be a card showing the Eagle Pass, Texas, Court House. It's there behind the palm trees. | ![]() |
| Any one old enough to remember the Eagle Hotel? I remember hearing about it, but I don't really remember where it was. | ![]() |
